Kmetrics operates in the field of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), and in particular in the design, optimization and testing of photovoltaic (PV) power plants.

In recent years, the need for a cleaner environment and combating climate change has led to the rapid growth of the renewable energy sector globally. The development of wind and solar energy has been remarkable, with the emphasis placed on wind turbines and photovoltaic systems. Photovoltaics are used in plants of capacities ranging from just a few KWp to MWp. However, this rapid growth has often led to PV plant design or construction problems, resulting in unsafe or non-optimized installations.

Thanks to its accumulated experience and knowledge and having a team of seasoned engineers at its disposal, Kmetrics is able to detect design and construction problems in PV plants. Kmetrics is capable, through appropriate guidance to investors and maintenance crews , of maximizing PV plant performance.

  Mobile PV module testing laboratory

  Kmetrics, being the exclusive Greek partner of the German company MBJ Services, has the best state-of-the-art mobile PV module testing laboratory. Thanks to the “Mobile PV-Testcenter”, it is now possible to conduct on-site tests on PV modules and provide investors with certified reports on the condition of the modules.

  Portable equipment

  Kmetrics also uses appropriate material and technical infrastructure, thermography cameras, multimeters, current clamps, etc., necessary for conducting complete and thorough testing of the electrical components of PV plants.

  Software

  Kmetrics also has the necessary computer software packages at its disposal, as required for the design and optimization of PV plants. By using these software packages, it is capable of studying accurately and in detail the requirements of any photovoltaic project, irrespective of size.
